Starting next week, I will only be posting Monday through Friday. I am also trying to come up with more of a schedule for the different categories. For the last 4 months, the majority of the posts made here have been based solely on my research and what I think is important. While I still plan to cover the topics I think are important, I would like to make mores posts based on user comments and questions.
Here is your opportunity to help me help you. Is there something that you would like to see a post about? Any questions that you have? Any topics you would like to see more information about? Personal Trainers

When deciding whether or not to hire a personal trainer there are many things to consider.
Price - Do they charge hourly? Per session? Can you get discounts for purchasing multiple sessions? Can you get a partial refund if you decide not to use all of your sessions?
Scheduling - Are they available when you want to workout?
Certifications - Are they nationally certified? Only certified through their gym?
Experience - How long have they been doing this? Can they tell you about any of their past clientsf experiences?
Knowledge base - What do they do to stay current? What classes/research/experiences do they have outside of their training? Do they have knowledge in the areas which you are seeking help?
Outside Personal Trainers - Will your gym allow you to bring a personal trainer in that doesnft work for the gym?
Getting a personal trainer can be a great source of motivation and knowledge. One thing to keep in mind though is that all personal trainers are not created equally. If you are serious about hiring a personal trainer to help you meet your fitness goals, I suggest that you meet with them beforehand to discuss your fitness goals and how your goals blend with their training methodology. The personal trainer you choose should be someone you feel comfortable with and you feel can motivate you to not only achieve but to exceed your fitness goals.
